Something We Learned this Week
Nasal Breathing During Exercise: Nasal breathing, as opposed to mouth breathing, during exercise can improve oxygenation, increase CO2 tolerance, reduce stress levels, and enhance overall workout efficiency. This technique can lead to better endurance, improved focus, and a more efficient respiratory exchange rate, which is the amount of oxygen absorbed per breath.

Recommendation of the Week
Lebron makes basketball look easy. He has a god given gift. But as his career starts to come to a close there is something that goes greatly under appreciated about what he has done. He has never compromised his opportunity to be the greatest he could possibly be.
Rewind 22 years, Lebron is 17 years old, he is just tagged as “The Chosen One” and he gets the same tattooed across his back (If you weren’t aware Lebron was the most hyped high school athlete EVER). From day one, before he was an actual adult he was committed to his own success and his career. Rather than letting the fame and attention get to his head, hje recognized god’s gift, accepted it, and swore to protect it.
Lebron has been the ultimate steward of his talent. He has been in the public spot light since before he could have a sip of alcohol, yet he has NEVER done anything to compromise himself. Never a scandal, never a significant injury, and the worst press you can find about this man is tendency to flop in an effort to draw fouls. One can imagine being in the public spotlight at such a young age would be extremely difficult, not only the pressure but also the opportunities that get thrown your way. These are bobbie traps other young superstars have fell into, whether it’s very public mistakes or not being able to handle the pressure.
The only thing more impressive than Lebron’s athletic ability is his commitment to protect it.
What in your life is a god given gift. Is it something you have? A friend has? A family member? It’s important to recognize what’s important and build a fortress around it and protect it at all costs.
