Growing up is realizing that your parents arenât superheroes and your role models are not gods.
At first, itâs earth-shattering when you recognize your parentsâ limitations or when you see someone you look up to make a brand-damaging mistake.
Today, I met a few folks I really admire in the running and influencer space. As we chopped it up, I had an epiphany: these people are just normal individuals. Behind the big social media personalities and energy are real, authentic people.
The most important takeaway was to keep trying and pursuing what youâre passionate about. The ones who sit at the top arenât bred in a lab. Theyâre normal people who arenât scared to fail and continuously learn and improve. So, stop second-guessing yourself.
âThe greatest heroes in life are often just ordinary people who persevere and endure to achieve extraordinary things.â
